Plug-In Electric Vehicles
27 public charging ports are available to use at 6 locations in the Village of Fairport parking lots. These charging stations are currently free to use and were provided with assistance from the Village of Fairport, Fairport Electric, and a grant from The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
Directions on how to use:
1. Download & launch the "EV Connect" app on your phone.2. Scan the QR code or type in the station ID.
3. Press charge now on your phone then plug in your vehicle.
4. When charging is complete, please carefully secure the cord back in the holder. -OR-
If you are a frequent user, it is recomended to use a key fob.
To charge using a key fob please visit https://ops.evconnect.com/driver-portal/login to register.
Once registered, go to Profile, click on the "order key fob" button.
